Registration for the Season 4 Hope Elementary 1-4th grade co-ed Soccer and Track is NOW OPEN!

 

Please read all of the following information for registration and use the link below to complete your students registration.

Registration Cost:The cost for each sport registration is $80.00

 

Sport Physicals / Code of Conduct. Student Athletes cannot participate in games, meets or practices without a current and complete physical on file with Hope. All Student Athletes are required to have their current and complete physical entered into their MAGNUS Health account on your FACTS Parents Portal found on the Hope Christian Website. There are forms in your MAGNUS account in the FACTS Family Portal that you will need to print out and have your healthcare provider fill out and sign. Make sure to say YES that your child will be participating in athletics. Athletic Code of Conduct forms are also found on your MAGNUS Account and need to be signed by both the Parent and the Students.

Practice and Game Information:  

The APIAL 1st - 4th Grade co-ed Soccer and Track season starts the week of March 20th and practices could start before Spring Break. We do not have any practice times yet.  Game and meet schedules will not be out until March. If for any reason you cannot commit to the season once practices and game/meet times have been announced, you may ask for a credit. NO Credits will be issued after the first game or meet. 

 

Once we know how many students are signed up we can put together Soccer teams with coaches and finalize our plan for the season. 

 

I am glad to announce that Britt Sanchez will again be our head coach for Track this year. Coach Sanchez will organize the team and assign the assistant coaches. You can contact her @ [email protected]

 

 

 

Jerseys

Soccer and Track jerseys will be paid for separately by the parents at a discounted price. These jerseys will be Hope approved so the students can wear them to school after the season. These jerseys are only available at this special rate to the athletes participating in the sport. All other items will need to be purchased at the Dawghouse at the standard sale price.  A link will be sent out separately after registration to the parents for payment. Jerseys must be paid for before the first game or meet.

The deadline for Season 4 Fall Registration is Friday February 17th at midnight.   There will be NO exceptions made once registration has closed.

Registration for Altamont Little League Baseball & Softball is open. Please review all of the information included in this email and use the link below to register for Baseball/Softball at Altamont. We have been working with Altamont Little League over the last year and they have agreed to put all of our Hope kids together for this upcoming 2023 Spring Season as long as we have a large enough number of players to make more than one team at each age group. We also need coaches for all of our teams. This opportunity is for all currently registered Hope students ages 4 - 12.  This is something that many of you have asked for and we have an opportunity to have something that no one else has with the league. All we need to do is bring the players and supply some coaches. 

 

Age Groups available 

Tee Ball is 4-6 years old

Rookies I is League age 7 (based off LL Internationals Age Charting) 6 yo will be considered if they have played Tball before. 

Rookies II is League age 7-8 with previous play in Rookies I

Minors 9-10 

Majors is 11 -12 (10 year olds will be allowed to try out)

 

Cost 

Baseball is $190.00 per player. There are family multiplayer discounts available for baseball which will be given after registrations are complete.

Softball is $50.00 per player. No family multiplayer discounts for softball due to the lower cost

Practices can start 2/27/2023

 

Season starting 4/1/2023

 

The Season will end by mid May to allow for Allstars and practices prior to district tournaments.

Registration for 5th Grade Golf and Track is now open. You should have received an email from AD Michelle Kocurek informing you that our 5th graders will be competing with our Middle School Golf and Track teams this year. This is something we have done over the last couple of years and it has worked out really well.

The cost for both sports is $100.00 per sport. 

 

Coach Parfet will be having a parent meeting for track on Wednesday, February 15th at 6:00 pm in the middle school cafeteria. If you have any questions on track, his email address is [email protected]  

For golf, we hope to have Coach Muttitt continue, however, he will need assistance. If you are willing to help out, please let either Coach or myself know. Coach Muttitt's email address is [email protected]
